Terms & Conditions

Professional Services

We provide professional mental health services including counseling and individual psychotherapy.

Client Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
  • Provide accurate information during sessions
  • Respect the therapeutic process and boundaries
  • Make timely payments as agreed
  • Follow cancellation and rescheduling policies

Confidentiality

All information shared during therapy sessions is strictly confidential and protected under professional ethical guidelines. Limited exceptions include situations involving imminent danger to self or others, suspected child abuse, or court-ordered disclosures.

Session Format

All sessions are conducted online via secure video platforms (Google Meet/Zoom). Session duration is 50 minutes. Services are provided in English and Hindi for adults 18 years and above. Online therapy sessions are available across all India.

Practice Exceptions

  • Services are limited to adults 18 years and above
  • We do not offer services for substance abuse, and Anger Issues as a co-morbidity with personality disorders. Incase it's identified in the first session, the client will be respectfully transferred to a more suitable therapist.
  • For online sessions, clients must have stable internet connection and a private space
  • Caregiver contact is mandatory for all sessions

Emergency Situations

In case of mental health emergencies, please contact emergency services immediately or call the crisis helpline. For urgent but non-emergency situations, contact +91 8887841544.

Refund Policy

General Policy

We understand that circumstances may change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while maintaining the integrity of our therapeutic services.

Refund Conditions

  • Emergency situations: Refunds available if client will not be taking any sessions in the future and no rescheduling is possible (once only per client)
  • Therapist referral: Refunds available if client is being referred to another therapist and therapy is being transferred without completion
  • Second occurrence: If emergency refund is requested a second time or more, no refund will be provided

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and returned via UPI or Internet banking.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Sessions already attended
  • Missed appointments without proper notice
  • Package deals partially used
  • Administrative or booking fees

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Advance Notice Required

We require a minimum of 6 hours notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests. Sessions can be rescheduled if requested 6 hours before the scheduled time.

Rescheduling Policy

Sessions can be rescheduled without charge if requested 6 hours before the scheduled time. We'll work together to find a mutually convenient alternative time.

Emergency Cancellations

Genuine emergencies (medical emergencies, natural disasters, etc.) are handled with compassion and flexibility. Documentation may be required for emergency cancellations.

Rescheduling

With adequate notice, appointments can be rescheduled without additional fees. We'll work together to find a mutually convenient alternative time within the same week when possible.

No-Show Policy

Definition of No-Show

A no-show occurs when a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without providing any advance notice or cancellation.

No-Show Consequences

  • First no-show: Strike one - amount will be adjusted for rescheduled date, no refunds provided
  • Second no-show and beyond: Full session fee will be charged with no refund or adjustment
  • Pattern of no-shows: May result in termination of therapeutic services

Grace Period

We provide a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 10 minutes, the session may be considered a no-show, and the full session fee will apply.

Technical Issues (Online Sessions)

Technical difficulties that prevent attendance at online sessions are not considered no-shows if reported within 24 hours with appropriate documentation.

Extenuating Circumstances

Genuine emergencies or unavoidable circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

  • Session fee is discussed during the first whatsapp or email interaction

  3. Complete payment as per instructions
  4. Receive session link (for online) or address (for in-person)
